Young Aviation Professionals’ Events
The Aviation Club UK’s Young Aviation Professionals’ programme launched in May 2018. The Committee recognised that younger, up-coming industry professionals might not yet be able to attend the Club lunches or commit to annual membership, so created this concept specifically for our younger industry colleagues and students aged between 20 and 35 years.
The YAP Events programme is open to members and non-members and existing members are invited to encourage their younger colleagues to participate.
The current programme comprises four informal evening networking Receptions, held quarterly. Typically each event runs from approximately 6:00 – 8:00pm with an average attendance of 65, held at a central London venue either provided by a member company or one identified by the Club. The events are fairly informal with the objective of networking amongst peers. Some will briefly address topical industry subjects through discussion or panel debate whilst others will be networking receptions. The YAP Events programme is open to members and non-members. Tickets cost just £20 per person and its a great way to meet with existing colleagues and connect with new industry contacts.
The YAP Events programme serves as an introduction to the Aviation Club UK and offers a stepping stone to full membership, although this is of course optional.

Refund policy: Refunds will be made on cancellations received ten working days prior to an event, less a £6 (inc VAT) administration charge. After this period, no refunds will be given, and any cancellations or no-shows will be subject to full charge.
