James McCarthy is Head of Trading and Origination at Dynam Aviation and is responsible for managing acquisitions, aircraft trading and business development.
Previously he was a Senior Director at Boeing Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company responsible for arranging, structuring and financing Boeing products and services, and also served as Regional Director, Marketing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes leading marketing activities
across Africa.
Prior to joining The Boeing Company, James was a senior analyst and portfolio manager at Richmond Capital LLP, a London based hedge fund.
James holds an honours degree in Finance and Accounting from the London School of Economics and a master’s degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University.
Alongside the Aviation Club, he is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) and the International Society of Transport Aircraft Traders (ISTAT), sitting on the ISTAT Foundation Humanitarian Committee. Beyond aviation, James is Chairman of Mane Chance Sanctuary, a trustee of Lucy Air Ambulance for Children and is a keen enthusiast of oenology, music and the arts..
